RSZ

The term initially is the model name of a small scooter made by Sanye Yamaha in Taiwan, China, and now refers to a wider range of modified motorcycle, with updated powerful engine and exaggerated appearance. The rebellious RSZ teenagers "blast the street" at midnight with their RSZ bike, creating a horror atmosphere over the streets.

Beer Pouring on the Head

Hitting oneself on the head with a beer bottle is a common plot in films. This behavior causes no physical damage to the enemy but only harm oneself. However, it is a very imposing and strong statement, claiming that one cannot be actually hurt by the enemy's damage. In recent years, this old-school violent expression has gradually declined. Yet beer as a powerful prop, is revived in the form of pouring on the head in Kwai. When people are heartbroken, they pour beer from the top down their bodies. The action expresses deep grief, and a baptism of this mood.

Monitoring Pigeon

Watching orchards, farms, construction sites, nursing homes, anti-lost and anti-theft, these surveillance camera at work are filmed by phone cameras and uploaded to Kwai. Thus, they become monitored monitors. It is always partnered with pigeons, playing the role of a watcher.

水泥
Cement

Modernist architects love to express their ideas in cement, because it returns to the same sacredness as marble does in ancient Greek architecture, which represents civilian and fair. Cement also stands for artificial, cheap, and reproducible. In Kwai, a large number of expressions of cement are presented. It is used to create all kinds of daily necessities and handicrafts, to cook, and even to dance - with dynamic music, the cement powder was spilled from pocket randomly, floating with the free dance, and the ground turns into a perfect stage, fluffy and soft. This dance may originate from the construction site, invented by the "Smart Family."

Slime

Slime originally refers to a fictional creature that often appears in modern video games and fantasy novels. It first appeared in the novel of the same title in 1958. Its popular image is a monster with jelly, semi-liquid body and opaque or semi-transparent color, that can easily shape, split and merge. In live stream and short videos, it refers to crystal mud, an ornamental product that are originally used to replace flower soil. In those videos and live streams, streamers repeatedly poke, knead, test, and mix the Slime, to produce tender and diverse sound. But why, these sounds have the mysterious power of calming and meditating?

Shuffle

Generally, refers to shuffling dance, originated from Melbourne, Australia. The dance contains a lot of sliding. Running in place is a basic move, requiring great smoothness and body coordination. Shuffle dancers usually have their own special sliding shoes that can easily slide on any flat tiles and smooth ground. The soles are equipped with colorful lights, which makes the dance steps under the night more splendid and leaves a phantom under the feet in the cityscape. Joseeh Punmanlon's lyrics of "rubbing on this smooth ground" and "devil-like step" in "My Skate Shoes" might be describing a pair of dream shoes.

花手
Flower Hands

The most captivating move in Social Shake and Laser Rain dance. After Mei Lanfang's nine classic gestures, once again the dazzling expressiveness of the fingers strikes people and even sweep the world.

Octopus Headshot

Why are people obsessed with mudslides mukbang or octopus headshots? Dose it offers the same kind of pleasure as the acne squeezing? Or brain splashing scenes?

Forgiven Set Meal

"Blue is melancholy, gray is unmentionable, green is of course she's forgiven."
In recent years, green has been called the color of forgiveness by netizens, and the meaning of forgiveness has also been dispelled and changed. The streamers punish themselves with green as a performance to serve the fans. Punishments include to apply forgiveness cream (mustard) on a toothbrush for brushing their teeth, and to bottom up a self-made strange and special drinking.

Electric Drill Corn

"There are several ways to eat a corn, peeling off the corn kernels one by one to eat, or simply bite the cob. However, the traditional methods are too bothering for lazy people. Thus, some netizens invented a super novel way — using an electric drill. Prepare a cooked corn and an electric drill tool, then pierce through the corn cob with the electric drill. When the drill is turned on, the corn start rotating rapidly. The man in black got fully prepared before eating the corn, that is, to close his eyes tightly, and then to gape his mouth wide starting to eat." (Quoted from "China Daily")

Confession · Electric Drill Corn

How come an electric drill and a corn, two objects from daily life that are hardly seen together, get associated? Looking at the world at first glance, there is nothing. With a rough glance at the world, nothing exists. Yet with repeated and attentive observation, its strangeness and perfection get revealed.

Confession · Corn Poem

Finally, let's return to the life inside screen. Watch the corn carefully, watch the phone carefully. Perhaps the dependence on corn and mobile phones might be found existing in a neglected way.

The so-called "divine manifestation" means that the divine always appears to people in a secular way. This is an artificial exhibition hall and a temple, created by freezing the screen images and digital moments in "Kwai" including combinations of unrelated life props, unconventional body movements, meaningless language, emotional expressions that look only at the camera—thus re-salvaging them from the flood of destructive parody and misappropriation. We display, worship, and confess with the seriousness of restoring cultural relics, specimens, and myths. It is hoped that these objects can shed their respective symbolic restrictions in the solidified time and form an open future system through a number of isolated fragments.
