百年回响——东方汇理银行旧址主题艺术展览
Echoes of a Century: Art Exhibition at Former L’indo Bank of China
以建筑本体为唯一舞台，以1943至1944年间一位普通人卷入金融投机、最终失去一切的典型命运为叙事主线，串联展览四大核心装置区——“财如戏台”“金露银泣”“纸碎金迷”“吞金兽”。
全程约30分钟，由一名演员引领、建筑环绕声道贯穿始终，配乐取自民国时代曲原声录音。游客无需任何历史背景，即可通过声音、光影与演员的肢体互动，完成一次对百年金融史与人命运的感知与叩问。
Taking the architecture itself as its sole stage, the work centers on the archetypal fate of an ordinary man caught in financial speculation between 1943 and 1944—only to lose everything in the end. It weaves together four core installation zones of the exhibition: “Wealth as a Stage”, “Gold Dew, Silver Tears”, “Glittering Decadence”, and “The Gold-Swallowing Beast”.
Lasting approximately 30 minutes, the experience is guided by a single performer and underscored by a spatial sound system embedded within the building. The soundtrack features original recordings of popular songs from the Republican era. Requiring no prior historical knowledge, visitors engage through sound, light, and physical interaction with the performer, embarking on a perceptual inquiry into a century of financial history and human destiny.

1943年深秋的天津，解放北路上的"朱公馆"沙龙，是一座用金钱与欲望构筑的浮华剧场。
十一个身份迥异的人物，因利益与命运的交织被卷入同一场博弈：心怀良知的公务员、身不由己的沙龙常客、精于算计的女主人、隐匿其中的投机者……
你将以“沙龙宾客”的身份，零置身其中，零距离见证这场盛宴的每一个转折。
这不是旁观，而是选择。每个人都将面对属于自己的抉择，而人性在利益面前究竟几分真、几分假——答案，藏在你亲历的每一个细节里。
In Tianjin during the late autumn of 1943, the “Zhu Mansion” salon on Avenue Joffre stands as a gaudy theater built on money and desire. Eleven individuals of vastly different backgrounds are drawn into the same high-stakes game, their fates intertwined by vested interests: a conscientious civil servant, a reluctant salon regular, a calculating hostess, and a lurking speculator…
Assuming the role of a “salon guest”, you will step inside—not as a spectator, but as a participant—witnessing every twist of this extravagant feast at zero distance. This is not about watching from the sidelines; it is about choosing. Each visitor must face their own moment of decision. When confronted with profit, how much of human nature remains genuine, and how much is mere pretense? The answer lies hidden within every detail you personally experience.
